About the Artist
Ng Siang Hoi, b.1974
Siang Hoi, a client of TOUCH Silent Club, developed his artistic abilities under the guidance of a deaf art instructor at the age of 14. Since then, he has been consistently engaged in painting and has a particular fondness for capturing nostalgic scenes of old Singapore and the city's skylines. Working with a mixed medium that includes watercolor, acrylic, and ink, Siang Hoi, who is diagnosed with deafness, continues to express his creativity through his artwork.
